Pioneering Nigeria’s 1st 100kVA Solar Off-Grid System (2012)
Installed for the Lagos State Surveyor General’s Office (100kVA 3-phase inverter, 24,000AH battery bank, 13.2kW solar array). SEL executes SSGF’s mini-grids, waste-to-wealth energy systems, and rural solar water projects.
When the Sun Sets, Learning Shouldn’t Stop.
Across rural communities in Nigeria and Ghana, millions of children—especially children with disabilities—grow up in the dark. Every evening, they face an unfair barrier: study beside the toxic smoke and fire hazard of an open kerosene wick, or fall behind in school.
It takes just $10 to replace that smoke with clean, steady light. A single portable solar reading lamp protects eyesight, eliminates hazardous respiratory fumes, and gives a vulnerable child uninterrupted hours to read, write, and build their future.

Rev. Father Matthew Fasinu with students holding their new solar reading lamps after the 60-lamp community outreach on behalf of SSGF (October 2026).
